Our farm is located directly along the Appiano Castle Trail. From here you can go on many hikes and walks and get to know the Oltradige region.
Whether on foot, by bike or by car, explore the picturesque landscape and discover the beautiful nature of South Tyrol. Our farm is very centrally located, so that you can reach many interesting excursion destinations within a short time.
The Appiano Castle Trail
The three-castle hike to Korb Castle, Boymont Castle and Hocheppan Castle is very popular with hikers who want to go on a short, exciting hiking tour. A must if you are on holiday in Missiano. The refreshment stops at Hocheppan and Boymont are also highly recommended.
The Ice Holes
On hot summer days, a hike to the ice holes is recommended. In the niches and caves under the often huge boulders, it is so cold even in midsummer that ice forms. The flora is unusual and alpine. Popular with families, as children can let off steam. The trail leads through forests and vineyards.
The Province Capital
In about 15 minutes by car, you can reach the city of Bolzano, which with its many shopping opportunities and wonderful museums is always worth a visit.
Bathing lakes
Nearby are the large and small Monticolo lakes and, a little further south, Lake Caldaro. All three lakes are ideal for swimming or simply enjoying the sun.
Biking
Eppan is also a popular destination for e-bikers, mountain bikers and racing cyclists. With almost 300 kilometres of forest trails and a cycle path along the Adige river, you can enjoy the Mediterranean landscape by bike.
You are on holiday and would like to explore the area on an e-bike but don't have one? No problem! There is an e-bike hire service in Appiano. Book your e-bike from home.
Golfing
The 9-hole "Blue Monster" golf course is just a few minutes away.
Advent
During the Advent, our farm is an ideal starting point for visiting the many Christmas markets.
The ski areas of Obereggen, S. Martino and Merano 2000 can be reached by car in around 30-45 minutes.

Eat where and when you want. Try out the many restaurants in the surrounding area of Oltradige and enjoy the varied local and Mediterranean cuisine of South Tyrol just as you want. There is something for every taste in the restaurants in the area, whether traditional South Tyrolean dishes, typical Italian pizza or pasta, or exquisite fine dining restaurants, if you fancy something special.
